A remittance giant doubles down on its network.
Viamericas Corporation operates one of the largest cross‑border money transfer platforms, with more than 300000 payout locations in 95 countries and deposit access to 2700 banks and 107 mobile wallets.
The company earns transaction fees by connecting diaspora communities with banks and cash‑out agents, moving billions of dollars every year. It just secured $113.6 million in financing from Old National Bank, Bank of Oklahoma, Axos Bank, and U.S. Bank to expand its global reach and upgrade its digital infrastructure.
Co‑founders Joseph Argilagos, Paul Dwyer, and Lillian Argilagos stress that remittances are a lifeline for families. Viamericas plans to invest the capital in new corridors and faster payout options.
With payout partners spanning Latin America, Africa, and Asia, the network already supports cash pick‑ups and bank deposits within minutes.
In a world where migration continues to rise, scale and reliability may be the defining advantages.
How far could you go with 300000 cash‑out points?
