FinTech of the day: Circuit & Chisel

Post date :

Teaching AI to pay other AIs.

Former Stripe executives Louis Amira and David Noël-Romas have raised $19.2 million in seed financing from Primary Venture Partners, ParaFi Capital, Amplify Partners, and Bain Capital Crypto to build Circuit & Chisel.

Their ATXP protocol will let autonomous AI agents settle micro‑payments with one another, natively across blockchains. The capital will fund protocol development, open‑source SDKs, and early partnerships.

Louis Amira says the next wave of AI applications will rely on agents that consume data, compute, and services, and they'll need built‑in payments to coordinate.

The business model revolves around network fees on micro‑transactions; investors see a future where every software call could be a tiny payment.

Will micropayments become the glue that powers autonomous AI?
