FinTech of the day: Archive Intel

Post date :

Oct 28, 2025

Compliance that writes itself.

US‑based Archive Intel streamlines communications archiving and marketing compliance for wealth managers and broker‑dealers.

Its SaaS platform consolidates email, chat, and social media records, applying AI to detect high-risk phrases and suggest compliant alternatives, cutting review times from days to minutes.

The company serves more than 500 firms and 7000 users, reducing manual workloads by 85 % and saving clients over $68k per advisor annually.

On 2 Oct 2025, Archive Intel closed a $6.3M Series A led by Gray Line Partners with Social Leverage and Garuda Ventures, bringing total funding to $8.8M since April 2024.

CEO Larry Shumbres, a fintech veteran who previously founded Totum Risk and SmartVision (both acquired), will use the capital to expand AI engineering and launch trade‑monitoring agents.

The business model centers on per-user SaaS subscriptions and premium AI modules. With regulators like the SEC cracking down on off‑channel communications, the market for turnkey compliance tools is heating up.
